We are Sue Hunter and Ruth Foden. We qualified as Complementary Therapists nearly twenty five years ago and since then sucessfully work in both the private sector and the NHS. We have a clinic, Holistic Health, set in the heart of Canterbury as well as clinics at Bridge Health Centre and Littlebourne Surgery.

We treat clients of all ages, shapes and sizes. Some come to see us with specific problems, others are referred by their GP, many just want to de-stress and take some valuable time out.

We are about:

  • Complementary therapies – our experience of working within the NHS has brought us to the conclusion that natural therapies have an important place within, rather than separate from, modern medicine.
  • Offering the best possible treatments for our clients
  • Maintaining our high standards by continually updating our knowledge and skills
  • Providing a friendly welcoming environment where clients feel at ease and able to relax
  • Professionalism combined with common sense and a touch of humour

We are not about:

  • Alternative therapies – it would be foolish to underestimate the vital role of orthodox medicines and procedures
  • Instant cures
  • Promising unattainable results
  • Unsubstantiated therapies that have nothing to back them up
  • Jumping on the bandwagon of every fashionable treatment that comes along (usually with a very expensive price tag)

At Holistic Health we passionately believe that the therapies we use assist the body’s natural ability to heal and repair.
